<p>neither, in the abstract; it all depends on what you actually like to do for fun. </p>

<p>Of course, MIT Chris is right, but I always interpreted that prompt as indicating that we should write about one of the non-academic pleasures in our lives. The admissions officers, as I took it, already understood that we were passionate about school and about pursuing scholarly interests outside of class. They want to know about what else we love.</p>
