Freshman year I didn't have any honors courses and came out with a 3.6 GPA

Sophomore (what i am currently) I took two honors courses and came out (at midterms) with a 3.7 My end year goal is atleast a 3.8

The courses I take and my average in each

Honors US History - 105
PE - 100
CP Chem (Honors was full) - 94
Spanish 3 - 91
Algebra 2 - 93 or 94
Human Anatomy and Physiology (ONLY SOPHOMORE in the entire history of the class to have taken it) - 92
Honors English - 96
AFJROTC - 100

The classes I'm taking next year

AP US History
AP English
AP Biology
Honors Trigonometry and Honors Analytic Geometry
Honors Physics
Astronomy
PE

Extra-curriculars
Freshman year
-Mock Trial
-Drill team (Part of JROTC)

Sophomore year
-Mock Trial
-Environmental Club (Just started this year)
-Future leaders of Medicine (Just started this year)
-Drill Team
-Ju Jitsu (outside of school)
- I'm aslo trying to get an AP Human Anatomy and Physiology course in but I'm having some difficulty -_-

One major restraint on my extra-curriculars is AFJROTC. We have two instructors, a Chief and a Colonel. The Chief doesn't care what we do but the Colonel is strict as hell and wouldn't let me join half the clubs I wanted to join (by not letting me attend interest meetings.. etc)

My hopes for SAT?
2200 or above.

I plan on taking the Bio English and Physics SAT's next year with the Math ones the following year. I want to go to Northwestern for Medicine... do I stand a chance? I'm also Asian-Indian

Oh I might add Freshman year I wasn't the best off student. I was taking Algebra 1 and I was also not taking Honors Bio (Class I fully ****ing deserved to get into)

I took some summer courses, Geometry and Biology to get myself into Algebra 2 and Chemistry this (Sophomore) year.

dont "hope" your sat score is somthing, becasue you never know what it will be unless you take it.

ex: got a 210 on my psat, 2140 on a practice test, and got a 1960 on my actual SAT.

also, its way to early to tell, you are taking some difficult classes junior ( i had nearly the same schedule, but regular physics), if you can do well, you should have a competitive chance

I think "hope" is not imposible, one of my friend is always good at "hope" a schore, he said at least 2300, and he got 2320 one year latter...
the point is if you are good at predict your mark then you can say "hope" a certain score, but most of people cant

Do I stand a chance? I am very desperate to get in to the university -_-

I'm taking an SAT prep course which I believe will greatly help me get ready for my "hopeful" score

seems you are not so good at hoping than I think the chance is really depend on you outcome after the prep course

I forgot my class rank: Its pretty bad at 64/556 but by the end of the year my predicted class rank should be <=59

I know of people who got in with the same classes as me but with only 19xy on the SAT's... -_-

you guys are scaring me

well kid, we won't know anything until you finish off your sat's & half of junior year, at least.

Ok damn I'm sorry... I was just curious

I am going to take SAT's in January
