I am junior and have taken one SAT II already, world history, I am not happy with my score so I am retaking it in June. I am planning to take the SAT II U.S. history, SAT II French and SAT II French Listening, and possibly both Bio's. Is that too many SAT II's?

I think that most "elite" colleges recommend two or three. Personally, I plan on taking exactly three.

their is no point in taking both bio's. If u want to take bio choose one.

Take only SAT II french w/ listening. Take one bio (the one ur more comfortalbe with). Take only 1 history. Try to take one math as well. Most colleges like that. I say retake one of those and take math instead of us history. That is a total of 4. Which imo is A LOT when compared to others.

I agree with the previous posters. You do seem to be taking too many, and unless you do spectacularly well on them, I don't think it will help you any, especially if you're taking the APs too. I would think any more than three would be kind of pointless, since that's how many you take in one sitting, but since you're retaking one anyway, maybe you could bump it up to 4 or 5...but taking multiple Bios and Frenches I definitely do not think is necessary. I don't know anything about Bio, actually, but I would think French w/ Listening would definitely suffice (or w/o, but listening's probably better.)

I really don't want to take math because I am terrible at math.

Hmm then take literature (or do u not like this either)? I am juust saying this because of what many others told me. To take either a math or literature. I could be wrong though if you have no interest in those types of careers of if you are not good at them.

I would probably do okay in Lit. I would prefer not to take it though because it seems somewhat difficult. Also, I feel that my SAT scores should demostrate my math skills and reading skills as opposed to the SAT II's. Thanks for all the replies everyone.
