I scored a 650 on SAT 2 Spanish after three years of high school Spanish study. For selective colleges that allow Score Choice, should I send it or not? (I have a 790 on Literature, and I'll be taking Math 2 in December, so it would be an extra subject test, not one of the two required.)

It’s not an amazing score but it may allow you to place out of some of your language requirement depending where you go. Do you plan on taking the Spanish AP exam? If you do well on this then you won’t need the SAT test score.

I would wait to see what your Math score looks like. If it’s also in the mid to high 700 then I wouldn’t send in the Spanish score.

Okay, thanks. I didn’t have the option of taking AP Spanish, but I’m taking a dual enrollment (college) Spanish class this semester (and plan to take another next spring), so that’s probably a better way of demonstrating my proficiency than my SAT 2 score.
