I was wondering what was considered a "safety" school in terms of an applicants scores/GPA in comparison to the school's usual admits? In particular, I was wondering if I could consider Georgetown, Boston College, Notre Dame, University of Michigan, and Northwestern as safeties. Also, would HYP be considered a crapshoot or a reach for me?

I would say the majority of those you posted could be safety schools, except Georgetown which is almos as competitive as Cornell or some of the lower Ivies imo. But other than that, HYP is pretty much just luck of the draw with your stats, as they are good, but so are everyone elses.

Might look at Holy Cross-1 hour from Boston very similar to Notre Dame and Boston College. Holy Cross has a stronger science program and new $70 million science building. HC is also need blind for financial aid.
