What's it like to minor in photography?

<p>I'm thinking of doing a dual degree (or if that doesn't work out a double major) and a minor in photography or fine arts. Does anyone know anyone who's minored in photography or fine arts? How rigorous is it?</p>

<p>quite rigorous coursework: 7 classes but lots of work needed</p>

<p>hmm…I read that also, and couldn’t make much of it from the course titles. </p>

<p>Is there a way I could get involved with a group/community of photographers without having to minor in it? I was thinking maybe working for the Daily Pennsylvanian as a photographer or something…</p>
