Thank you for the info about the bus ride. I spoke with the admissions folk at MHC and it sounded too easy -- Amherst is just 12 miles down the road...!</p>
<p>Whoops! That previous post got posted before I finished -- hit the wrong key, I guess...!</p>
<p>Anyway, taking classes through the consortium is a conversation that we've not yet had. We're still waiting for my dd's finaid package to see whether we can afford this. My daughter hoped for a double major -- Spanish and Russian -- so I suppose she could go the Spanish route (although I'd love for her to continue in Russian). And of course, she may get to college and decide to major in something totally unrelated. This, in fact, is why we are so keen on her going to a school like MHC where I think the overall education is more important than the major.</p>
