Whats the best CALCULUS review book?

Im taking AB Calc right now and i would like a supplemental review book. It dosnt necessarily have to be about the ap exam, i just want a good clear review book that explains everything clearly.

Anyone have any suggestions?

thanks

A very nice textbook, albeit out of print, is "Calculus and Analytic Geometry" by Finney and Thomas.

If you're looking for a review book, then I recommend Barron's.

Yeah, Barron's is nice. Our Calc textbook is stellar, but I can't remember the publisher at the moment. AB Calc is pretty straight forward; find a book you like and you'll be good to go.

i taught math at a decent private catholic high school. i did not teach calc. but i know that our school used a series by Best & Lux to review for AP exam in calc. the teacher had been teaching the course for many years and was very experienced. also, i know that most of our kids got 4's and 5's on AP exam. if you have any trouble locating it, please e-mail me. i think that my log in allows e-mails. otherwise reply online. hope this helps you.

People say Arco's.

Barron's is the best out there for AP Calculus AB or BC

im lucky i have the best Calc teacher in san diego county who last year had 100% pass rate with 90% of her class recieving 5's in a PUBLIC high school

if you want to see website for best/lux, go to this website. it says that barron's is better. i personally don't know, but i would consider everything.

ooh! My teacher has those (the best/lux for Calc BC), though we haven't done any problems out of them yet. Last year, though, I helped a friend with some stuff out of the book.. and it seemed pretty relevant. A bit harder than Princeton Review problems, but not insanely so.
I guess the best/lux book is an option to consider if you're looking for more practice, since it's basically a book of problems.
