Whats the best hall for an international from New Zealand to live at?

Feeling like a bit of a change up from earthquake central in Christchurch. Im thinking about coming next year in my 4th year of study. All the information provided points to Hillenbrand or Hawkins? Any opinions would be greatly appreciated!

Depends what you’re looking for and it seems your 21+ years old which would make Hawkins more enticing.

Hawkins:

 1. Close to the bars and restaurants on Chauncey.
 2. Ability to have liquor in your room.
 3. Close to Krannert and Rawls if youre a business student.

Hillenbrand:

 1. Located on-campus.
 2. Ability to eat at dining courts easily.
 3. A bit out of the way when it comes to going to the bars. Not fun getting a public intox. on your record…

Yeah i would be 21. Is that considered a bit old?

No. There are a good number of freshmen and sophomores who are 21 because of the education system and mandatory military service.

so Hawkins isnt just full of internationals?

I would say it is…

I would agree that Hawkins is full of internationals… Hillenbrand has more “diversity” compared to Hawkins. Most upperclassmen live off-campus instead of on-campus except for the internationals who tend to live on-campus.
