What's the best SAT prep book (if tutor)

If you prep for the SAT test with the tutor, what book is the best to practice together?

OF COURSE, i know its the blue book, but I need another book before the collegeboard blue book, so i know how to take the test and stuff. Not just that, but so i can at least get my score up to 1700 before touching the blue book.

EVEN IF you think blue book is the best, please recommend a different book.
Thank you!

anyone???

Barron’s I suppose.

I really wouldn’t use Barron’s if I were you; I’d rather use PR’s 11 tests instead. Try using some of CB’s released tests, and use this archive ([SAT Question of the Day Archive Search | aTekkie](http://atekkie.com/sat-question-of-the-day-archive-search/)) of former SAT question of the day problems.

I haven’t used it myself, but I’ve heard Sparknotes is good for beginners.
