What's the best UC I could get into with these SAT scores?

WR: 630
M: 580 (hopefully I can bring it up)</p>

<p>Ignoring everything else, and assuming I'm not doing bad on my grades, what's the best UC I could get into with those scores?</p>

<p>any of them. UCs use comprehensive review and not 'who has the highest SAT score'</p>

<p>lol, assuming I'm not a standout student lets say. I know I wouldn't be accepted at LA or Berkely because I don't standout, so other than that...</p>

<p>What UC's would I most likely get into with these scores?</p>

<p>Without knowing anything else, I would say those SAT scores put you in the range for UCI/UCSB/UCD. You still have a decent shot at UCSD though, and a chance at UCB or UCLA.</p>

UCB/UCLA: Super Reach
UCSD: Reach
UCI/UCD/UCSB: Slight Reach
UCSC/UCR/UCM: Match</p>

does that mean, if you are not, you have to be outstanding to get it?
I'm a Canadian and I have heard that the UCs take mostly California Residents and that I pretty much have no chance no matter what my GPA or scores are..is that true?</p>

<p>Nope, OOS is considerably difficult but not impossible. It certainly doesn't hurt to try.</p>
