I am taking it in April for the first time, and I've been doing practice tests over and over, is that the best way to study for them or is there any better techniques to do well ?

Whats personally worked best for you and how do you use your time for the test?

Get The Princeton Review's "Cracking the ACT." It's good.

I've always scored 34-36s on math, so I don't prep for that.
For Reading, I read. A lot. I read the LA Times everyday. Princeton Review has some good points on it.
Science, I can't really prep for it. I don't read the intro unless a question says so.
English, there's a recent thread about it. Google "The Elements of Style." You should do fine.

I scored a 30 in February, and trying again in April.
