It’s engineering program is admirably ranked. Why don’t more engineering applicants apply? (Is it a matter of location, location, location? Is there something I don’t know?)

there are three elite programs on this campus, hospitality management, architecture and engineering. while i have no data on applications i can assure you that the faculty and programs are very highly regarded and students typically sort among many job offers upon graduation.

Possibly elite among engineering schools that do not offer doctorates but I highly doubt CSU Pomona is near MIT, Caltech, CMU, and Berkeley in engineering.

I just go in thier engineering program this year and so far the faculty has been really good, i think their teaching methods good since they don't have TAs and they seem to understand what the avg. student goes through.

So far i do think it is one of the better "unknown" school for engineering in the country.
