I am going to take AP biology. Some kind guys on CC recommended a book called cliffs AP biology. But when I searched Amazon, I found this book and another one called CliffsNotes AP Biology. I am really confused. What's the difference between two books. Cliffs or CliffsNotes? Which one is generally used and highly recommended?

I think they are the same. I have the cliffs AP Bio one.

Have a nice day

Hey. Chill. They’re the same. Cliffs is short for Cliffsnotes.

Amazon has the 3rd edition of this book described as “Cliffs AP Biology”.

The 3rd edition with the CD is described as "CliffsNotes AP Biology. The CD includes 4 bonus exams plus a searchable PDF of the book’s contents.

The 4th edition of this book is coming out in March, and I don’t believe there will be a CD version with this new edition.

Don’t get the 3rd edition!!! It’s outdated because CB is updating the exam this year. Wait for the 4th edition to come out!

Any idea how big the changes are going to be? Have any study guides come out yet that reflect the updates?

Collegeboard’s website has a lot of info on the changes to AP bio.
Princeton Review’s is already out. Barron’s and Cliffs are not out yet.
