Out of all the APs, which would be easiest? I am not going to be taking the class

AP Psychology. Buy a prep book and some flashcards and you’re good.

I second psychology if you have no background with any particular subject. If you’re really good/ know a lot about US government and history, the gov exam will be quite easy. In the gov exam, there’s a bunch of graph reading, kind of obvious trends (that can easily be memorized, but basically that women and minorities save for Cubans tend to vote Democratic), and basic US history.

I third Psychology. Government is a little harder in my opinion. I self-studied both and got a 5 in Psych but a 4 in U.S. Government but it really depends on the person.

Environmental Science is extremely easy to self-study as well; it’s mostly common sense.

It’s usually said that the “joke” APs are Environmental Science, Psychology, and Statistics.

Well, I wouldn’t say any are really “jokes”. All APs have their own difficulty. For me personally, Psychology was probably the easiest as others have mentioned. Another one that I self-studied for like two weeks before the exam was Human Geography. I got a 4 on that one… surprisingly considering I had like 6 or so other AP exams I was studying for.

I’ve self-studied U.S. History (4), U.S. Government (3), Calculus BC (4), and Statistics (3).
I think U.S. Government was the easiest because I did it one day. My score wasn’t awesome, though. People say Stats is really easy but I didn’t think so even though I’m supposed to be a math person.

Psych for sure! I memorized Barron’s and got a 5! :)

Human geography. Self studied in 9th grade and got a 5.

Psychology
