Does anyone know? Is there a difference? thank you :)

I’ve never seen that data anywhere and I’ve browsed around Cornell’s pages a lot.

I’ve never seen the data split out separately for international students either. I’ve read that ED admission rates for Cornell are usually over 30% and that it would be much lower for international students. However, here is a 33-page report that you might find interesting – it has all the statistics and data on international students at Cornell, including percent international by major, exact numbers by country, etc. http://www.isso.cornell.edu/about/stats14-15.pdf

ED admission rate is not over 30%. It was 27.7 last year.

Thank you guys So even if it’s lower, would being Asian hurt my chances?

@12345n: Yep. Being asian hurts. Especially indian

@betterthanbest Aww man thanks anyway I just gotta hope for the best

At orientation this year, President Skorton told us the overall acceptance rate of international students for the class of 2018. If I remember correctly, it was around 8% overall for internationals, including both ED and RD.

@ranza123 oh wow that’s so bleak. Thank you though :)
