Originally got INTJ, but the thinking was only 1% off. Did the test again and got INFJ. Reading about it seems to fit me more. Definitely more introverted and introspective. It also seems to correlate with my interest for music and science. I find it interesting that one of the least common personalities in the world, INTJ, is the most popular on collegeconfidential. Anyone have thoughts on that?

Lastly, @teskeyben brings up a good point. Although we seek validation, I think it’s still an interesting classification of human personalities. But we shouldn’t rely on it or try to accommodate to the personalities given. I don’t think everyone can be put in categories perfectly, and it shouldn’t be treated as “the” thing to live by. Personality doesn’t necessarily have to determine your life choices, like occupation.

My hypotheses is that nerds like to think of themselves as more logical than they really are and answer the questions accordingly.

After reading the descriptions the only one that fits me is INTJ, but I have a feeling that’s still my stupid biased brain making me want to feel logical and rational.

College confidential is a website for students trying to get into the most elite universities in the nation, students that take 5 or 6 AP classes a year, and consider a 3.8 GPA atrocious. Doesn’t really baffle me that the most common personality type is the type described as life long learners, nerds, etc. This site caters to the interests of INTJ’s but not so much other types.

I honestly get a different one any time I try one. All I know is, I’m generally more TJ, and the first two are up for grabs. The last two vary a good bit anyway. I tend to think I’m slightly more INTJ than anything else.

This probably proves I’m one of the types, but I do them periodically (Different ones online, multiple times) and keep track of what I’ve gotten, and once I get to a decent sample size I’ll see what the results are. Yeah, I’m the life of the party! Haha
