What's your Myers-Briggs personality type?

I am INTJ. And I relate to everything on that tumblr as well. ^

^^ I am also an INTJ. It fits me SO perfectly.

INTP here :)

INTP, but I definitely have some discrepancies within my personality. I’m extremely neat, almost to the point of being a neat freak, and I pay a lot of attention to aesthetics. I’m also not that into science? I mean, I find it fascinating, but I’m not a scientist and have no aspirations to be one. I’m very thought-oriented, yet I love creative fields and the arts. Otherwise, it’s scary how perfectly INTP I am.

I am definitely an ESFP. Descriptions of both Se (extraverted sensing) and Fi (introverted feeling) describe my entire life. Unfortunately, I can be scatterbrained sometimes but because I live in the moment, I have a lot of fun and usually get some stuff done. I wish I could be more J though.

I think these tests are very limiting though. IME, many people use their results to excuse their negative/unhealthy traits.

"The INTP (Introverted - iNtuitive - Thinking - Perceiving) has great precision in thought and language. They can readily discern contradictions and inconsistencies. They are good at logic and math and make good philosophers and theoretical scientists. 1% of the total population.

INTP’s lack follow-through and this can isolate their ideas from practical examination. Their notions become over-intellectualized and too abstract to be of practical benefit. With their sharp critical thinking and analytical abilities, INTP’s tend to nit-pick, hair-split, and generally overdo simple issues. Their desire for accuracy and precision exacerbates any error they may perceive in themselves or in others — they are, in other words, highly self-critical. Wanting to be competent and know everything, their standards grow increasingly higher. When fear of failing becomes overly pronounced, INTP’s are quick to feel unintelligent, slow, and powerless.

If stress continues, the INTP’s mind seems to freeze and block out the vital information it has worked so hard to accumulate. Their creative juices stop flowing and they suffer from stage fright, writers block, and a general inhibition of their ingenious thinking and fluent language skills. Preoccupied with performance failure, INTP’s become self-consciously distracted in anticipation of their failure. If the stress becomes too overwhelming, the fear of blanking out prevents them from taking risks in areas they desire to succeed in. Attempting to avoid incompetence, they fail to gain the expertise and mastery they so desperately need."

I’m an INTP.
I fit the description in the previous post pretty well. I definitely lack follow-through and am quite scatterbrained. I sometimes nit-pick and am a perfectionist at certain things on certain days, but sometimes am also lazy. I also get stage fright, but in certain social situations too.

PS: according to wikipedia, INTP correlates modestly with some personality disorders. O_o

ISTJ… which I think is pretty accurate

ISFJ. I think it’s pretty accurate for me. It’s unfortunate that the disfavored careers include CEOs, because I’d love to be one… or just the have the money of one. :stuck_out_tongue: (Okay, it’s true, I probably wouldn’t enjoy being a CEO but it’s nice to dream sometimes.)

I’m an ISTJ. All of the descriptions are extremely accurate

ISTP here! Lol there’s only one other ISTP :(

INTJ, totally me

omnipotent24, nice, welcome to the club!

…of 2. I’m sure there are more closet ISTPs out there on CC.

INTP represent!

From Naviance:
“You are also a super logical person and are able to remain calm and cool in almost any situation.”
Yep.

“Because you are bothered by unfairness and inconsistency, and are rarely influenced by other people’s opinions, you can speak your mind honestly, if sometimes a bit bluntly.”
Every time. I look at people psychologically and analyze them that way.

“Above all, you strive to meet or exceed your own high standards rather than worry about trying to please others.”
Yeah, I’m a total perfectionist when I’m doing something I view is important and representative of myself. If it’s like taking out the trash or washing the dishes, though…

“But even your family and closest friends may not know how much you care about them because you rarely share your most private feelings.”
Not directly, but I try to convey this through humor and general silliness.

“You easily see both sides of issues so you may enjoy debating, and you are great at finding the flaws in other people’s arguments.”
Yeah, I hate it when people see it as a win-lose, black-white sort of situation. It rarely works that way, and it is my self-proposed duty to correct the error of their thinking.

“Casual and unpredictable, you are highly adaptable and spontaneous.”
Do stuffs cuz.

But your relaxed attitude about deadlines and neatness can make you run late or fail to follow through on commitments."
Lol. Late half the time to school. Don’t move until 5 minutes before the scheduled time.

INTP fits me really well. I’d say I’m mixed in the E/I though. I really enjoy being with other people and talking, sharing ideas, and being stupid too. But I’m just not used to getting out of my comfort zone and meetnig new people.

I’m a total INTJ.

I’ve taken several tests, and every time I have gotten INTJ.

ENTJ! Extremely appropriate.

@basicspace INTP too, that fits me really well. I could swear you were describing me.

it does not surprise me that the majority of everyone on here is intj

i’m infp though (at least that’s what i get like every time)

welll i got INTJ on the naviance test but that personality test is really inaccurate and it’s not me in reality i’m an INFP… now i will sense your emotion
