I just confused a WVU student on here by making a joke about also being in the “Mountaineer Family.”

Honestly, we have more of a claim to the name Mountaineers than they do.
Boone elevation = 3,333 feet.
Morgantown = 1,248 feet.

My high school mascot is the Demon

a Cougar. tbh i want ot tackle him and take his head off

I can list all my mascots, all four of them. A hawk during elementary & high school, a triton during my college classes in high school (we took them through a community college), a bear during my actual community college years and now…a cardinal/cyclone at university. XD

We’re technically the cyclones but its really hard to depict a cyclone mascot. So the cardinal was selected to depict us. He’s sometimes seen riding in a cyclone to mesh the two together.

I’m a proud Seawolf! Grrrr Splash

A spider…Lol!
Go Spiders!!

lol spiders

We’re getting a new Jonathan the Husky! His colors now reflect our new logo and he is super playful. :x :x

Golden Grizzly! :)

My previous school’s official mascot is an eagle. The unofficial mascot is Dooley, a skeleton who escaped from a biology lab at the end of the 19th century.

All about Dooley: <a href=“History and Traditions”>History and Traditions;

At my current school the mascots are two ponies, Boomer and Sooner, who pull a covered wagon known as the Sooner Schooner.

Johns Hopkins Blue Jays!! :D
