A goofy, fun, jokey guy who can be serious at times. He can't be boring, or a complete nerd, or super ugly (well he could be if he was perfect :))

Intellectual, attractive, liberal, some measure of wealthy, city-loving, considerate, funny, um not sports obsessed (I don't get or follow sports), and oh, nonreligious cosmopolitan person....and rednecks need not apply.

The type I really admire and wish I were more like.

Efficient effective intelligent and hot. ;)

=> Skepticism about the value of social constructs and the judgment of such social constructs
=> Cynicism
=> Disillusionment with the values held by society
=> Intellectual openness to just about everything
=> Tolerance the idiosyncrasies of someone who doesn't conform to many of the most basic social values. Ever heard of a vegetarian Aspie pro-unschooling knowledge-is-everything nihilistic libertarian who also holds a pessimistic view of free will?
=> Willingness to sacrifice lots of time to reading my pages and pages of thoughts of analysis about the world.
=> An ability to understand my thoughts (becoming harder since I'm becoming more abstract and drawing examples from research papers)
=> Intelligence. But I only say this because the majority of the world is so unintelligent that it finds any academic subject difficult. It wouldn't be such an issue if the average level of intelligence was higher

Someone actually did read much of my blog (which is quite a task in itself, since I post several times per day [it doesn't take that much time, considering that a post count per day of 3-5 on a forum isn't that high]). That was really nice of her. Though yeah, not many girls are extremely cynical, detached, and overanalytical (I try to avoid issuing normative judgments, but that doesn't keep me from disdaining most societal customs and attitudes).

It's highly unlikely that I'll find someone though. So I'm looking into AI. But the AI probably is going to be empty. :p

Okay...W..T..F was up with my post above? Um, as for "vegetarian Aspie pro-unschooling knowledge-is-everything nihilistic libertarian who also holds a pessimistic view of free will?", remove nihilistic, replace with moral skeptic-ly (rofl, I can't change it into an adjective)

Yeah, and then I'm weird. But eh, I want to just look at the world and laugh, instead of complain. ;)

hmmm it's odd lol. all my friends always ask me "oh you're spanish, you should like spanish guys right? they are SOOO romantic and goodlooking and *le sigh" but those guys never really attract me. they tend to be so full of themselves and take themselves too seriously and feel like tey have this macho image to uphold.

as to what i do like? physically: just healthy. i dont mind a little tub. i think it's cute and much better to cuddle with lol. but i really don't have a preference as to what physical features (facial or otherwise) i'm attracted to. it's all about whether or not i look at their face and sense an attraction.

more importantly, i like guys that are just genuinely nice to me. they don't have to be overly romantic or buff or whatever.... i don't care about their hobbies (as long as they are legal and not shady :p)... but i just want to feel loved (lame girly moment insert here)

[]Usually 1GB + RAM (2 or 4 Gigs is even better).
[]Flat-panel monitor (black, if possible).
[]Nice graphics card.
[]Dual-core processor, 3GHZ +
[li]Wireless mouse, keyboard, and headset.[/li][/ul]

And of course, we must have an instant connection (Plug-and-Play connection). :)

you kids are awfully selective. granted, i've never been on a date/ in a relationship in my entire life. but still.

i like intelligent, emotionally sensitive people who can appreciate the arts and politics. i prefer quiet and relaxed rather than a need to out everynight. i also like the liberal-minded and creative-spirited (creative being in anything, the arts, philosophy, anything; anything a bit off-kilter from the status quo).

but i'm bizarrely impractical, so practical would be good for me.

ChaosTheory - you're awesome (you've seen the loadingreadyrun episode on that, right?)

ummm... type? I realized recently that every guy I've gone out with, I met in a computer-related class. My friend told me I have a thing for "asian number crunchers" (note: not being racist, I was making fun of him for going out with skinny blonde cheerleaders)

I don't like guys who cry a lot
..if he uses more than one sad face in an email, it enrages me

lol it sounds bad but I really value virility in my guys =]

LOL Juicylove. =] I guess you do. x]

for all you ladies out there with pages of expectations from the opposite sex..... not gonna happen!

thecalccobra, xD are you saying that I won't find my guy who is taller than me, long hair, and wears eyeliner? LOL.

hmmmm, I was wondering more about how different you are from the people you find dateable all well, y'all put up interesting posts anyway lol

what started me to this thread is seeing all the short girls (me included looks away whistling) who like boys whose heads always bump their head on the door frame (not literally but you get what I mean.) I also know this girl whose mom is a OSU fan and dad a michigan fan, if you know anything about those two football team fans, you'd wonder too at how they manage to stay together for so long

^^haha, yeah

My perfect guy would have dark brown or auburn hair, green eyes, intelligent, funny, play soccer [implying he has great abs], and have a European accent.
sigh
haha, I'm not that picky in real life though. He has to respect me, not be too stuck up, good looking in general. I like a strong jaw line ;)

i am attracted to talent. like ridiculously so. if you are really talented at something...thats it for me.

but they also have to be smart, nice, funny and caring.

i also have a physical type that i always tend to fall for. dark hair, light skin, bright eyes. or dark skin and light eyes. interesting combinations really.

so i really cant deny having a type. its pretty clear if you look at every guy ive really like in the past. they all fit. i dont look for these guys...its just who i happen to fall for. so who knows.

This is also true for all the guys I know. It's natural to look at the opposites. Darwin explains why.

PS. Although I thought it doesn't apply to girls.

I never really thought about it before, but as far as looks go, I guess I am kind of attracted to the guy-version of me. Tall (I'm 5'10, so he has to be pretty tall), thin (but in shape), brown hair.

Also: kind, intellectual, funny. Someone who I can just hang out with and relax and never run out of things to talk about.
