When and where is your prom?

ours is at gillette stadium

jr prom, april 13th (friday the 13th!) at some dinner hall place that is 5 min away from school.

Our junior prom was at a nice hotel that was really close (I live on an island, and it was the best hotel on the island)... and our senior prom is at a nicer hotel 45 minutes away. I love it, all my friends pretty much get all the rooms on a floor, leave all the doors from our rooms to the hallway open, and after-party like it's our job, whoo :)

Ours is in Boston (approx 45 mins away) on a boat...

The boat couldn't hold everyone, so we now have a waiting list for prom tickets. Which means some kids won't be able to get.

Yep, good planning.

Disney's Coronado Springs late April (about 40 minutes away)

Optimization there was quite a combination of actions that screwed the senior class my year. The principal took away the right for seniors to leave to go to lunch. Result - a few seniors broke off license plates on his car and called cops and reported that their car was stolen and gave description of principals' car. They then mentioned how they thought the car might still be there in the school parking lot. Man that was a bad week. And that was just the tip of the iceberg of crazy things seniors did.

HAHA!!! That is awesome lol.

mine is at a banquet area... my bro's class had it at hilton hotel overlooking the hudson river and NYC... it was mad nice i heard..

junior prom is about 45 minutes away from our school. they do this because they want prom in the city (san francisco...where the school is) to be special for the seniors.

its pretty exciting. this year senior prom is on the embarcadero overlooking the bay. =) and junior prom is at a hotel with a view of the san francisco skyline.

but we arent allowed to arrive in limos or taxis and we cant rent hotel rooms.

Ours is at some country club. 2 years ago, it was in a parking garage

For the middle school prom it was in our cafateria and in the 12 prom its in a private club.

my school almost forces us to have an on campus prom. though its never in any of the gyms. we usually do homecoming dances in the dining hall and proms in the common area by the pool/senior lounge/quad. this is my first year going though but apparantly its still fun. we'll see =/

mine is going to be @ Crystal Gardens, Navy Pier (Chicago!) on April 28th!!

i almost answerd C:/stay out/warning/pp

Ours was almost always the third week of May. They had it at Heinz Field (the Steelers stadium) but I skipped it, going to the Pirates game instead. The following year about a dozen or so kids from my alma mater also skipped prom for a Pirates game (ironically I was at that one too despite the fact I had graduated).

We saved a ton of money. Some from the class below me went to after prom, I did not and instead went home and got to bed (I'd been up since 5:50 AM like all school days) and in the morning contemplated calling up my friends who did go and asking them if they wanted to do lunch...

Anyone know anything about tux rentals? How long can you keep them for, and what would be an average price?

Our prom is at the state aquarium.

Weird, huh?

I most likely won't be going. I'm grounded for getting a C this marking period in calculus.

DAMN YOU MATH.

Mine is a jr prom on April 28th. It's at a steakhouse/supper club/banquet place. We have dinner included and it's only $35. And the theme is a Black and White affair..I'm soo excited!

Honestly, if you really want to go, sneak out. Sure, you'll probably get in trouble, but why sacrafice having fun with friends.

My junior prom last year was held at Lehigh University
The senior prom this year is held at some hotel (but its not for another 2 months)

Ours is going to be held in a museum (now I wish i had gone to the class council meetings to protest).
