So when you get accepted ED, you have to withdraw your EA application.
What happens if the EA school already gave you a decision or does this never happen?
Sure it’s possible-- decision times in December may come in different orders. You decline your EA acceptance/deferral in lieu of your ED acceptance.
@t26e4 I think I have asked this on another thread, but let’s say you EA to a school and you get in and you ED and you get in.
It seems that you can say no to the ED offer if they don’t give enough financial aid.
So technically, you could still take the EA offer if your ED school gave you little to no money or do you have to decline the EA offer once you receive the ED acceptance?
If the EA acceptance offer is still valid, can you also bargain with your ED school if your EA school gives significant money?
Yes, you could take the EA acceptance. ED schools will NOT bargain based on an EA admission. You may not know the EA FA offer until later in the year anyway.
