When are SAT scores sent to colleges?

<p>Ive been searching the internet for this answer but cant quite seem to find the answer I want. </p>

<p>When are SAT scores sent to colleges?</p>

<p>Are they sent once the scores are posted online on the collegeboard.com? Are they sent before? Or are they sent the same time paper scores are mailed out?</p>
