sorry if this info is elsewhere, but i couldn't find it...is this scholarship tuition-only or any "academic expense"? and any idea how many SFs versus the "366 winners" (i'm assuming ones who actually get $) referenced by Demeter?

I think I heard somewhere that there would be one national award of $10,000, about 20 for $5,000, and 300+ for $1,000. I don't know about whether the use is restricted (that would be to keep the award from being taxable). It's too bad that they make the rules go dark like this. That's probably the outside scholarship management team's doing, not the company's.

My daughter got the email on Friday at the same time as the poster above. It didn't say anything about how many semifinalists, how many scholarships available, etc. I think either Best Buy or Lowe's is one per store, but I am not really sure, with larger awards at national level also available. I could be wrong, though.

yeah, same thing for me...i kinda figured it'd come by now, especially since it was friday that they said "in a few days"...anyway, i'm sure the info will arrive soon...fingers crossed
