when blue book is finished?

im taking the sats in october but i might have to retake next october if i want to score higher. how effective is re-using the bluebook and other collegeboard tests? wouldnt it make no sense to reuse the material?

bump~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Get 10 Real SATs - It's just as good, if not better, than the Blue Book, because those are actually administered tests, whereas the the BB tests are just practice tests that have not actually been given

If you go through that, get 11 Tests from PR

ahh okay thanks, any more opinions?

Get the tests from CC's online tutorial. I think there are 6 all together. After that you could try to get your hands on some QAS. Then you should do PR tests.

old thread but i desperately need to know the answer. I did those 8 tests in preparation for may SATs, so that amounts to a little more than four months which i havnt seen those questions. Redoing blue book sounds reasonable because I should of forgotten the content of the questions by now?

^I think only math and grammar are reasonable. For CR use the 10RS book.
Best option is you trying to find QAS out there. Though, asking on here will get you a warning/ban.

There are two QAS tests that you can download as PDF files directly from the CB, which they have released (in the guise of practice tests):

SAT October 2005 aka Official SAT Practice Test 2008-09

SAT March 2005 aka Official SAT Practice Test 2007-08

What is a QAS?

Yes, I'm curious as well.

QAS (Question and Answer Service) is when you order a copy of the test booklet from your SAT.
It also comes with a answer key.

dont use PR. use all CB materials.

okay so i redid the 1st practice test from blue book and i miraculously got a 650. which is 70 pts than my official SAT score...is this a sign of me improving or is it simply because i've done the questions before and even tho i THINK i dont remember them, I still somehow subconsiously do?

today i did a test from the PR 11 Test book and I got another 550 on CR, 100 POINT DIFFERENCE!!! how could this be?

QUESTION: ARE PR critical reading questions harder than the real thing? I thought it was much harder then the 1st practice test from blue book...

^Of course since you have done those reading sections before, it really can't be that accurate at all. Try finding some more CB materials or use the 10RS book.

Yes yes yes PR is harder. Especially for CR..I had really low scores when I took them. Around 100 pt difference too I think! For CB I usually got 680-720ish and for PR I got really low 600s

I did the maths test for 08-09, and I'm confused. The questions were way to simple, right? If this were the questions, 50% of all test takers would get an 800 and that's not the case.

fignewton, is there an answer key to the first of those two tests?

stevierimbaud fromw aht 08-09?

Does anyone have QAS for October 2008 Math? What about May 2008 Math?

I’m dying to know what I got wrong.

That was a real test. Only 1% of the takers got an 800. Don’t be stupid.
