When can we start working on CommonApp for Fall 2020 entry?

I’m currently in 11th grade in Australia, I start 12th grade in January 2019, and graduate high school in November 2019. I am looking to apply to an American college, then (hopefully) attend in the fall of 2020.

But when does the CommonApp for Fall 2020 entry open? Is it August 1st of 2019? Or am I wrong?

Have the CommonApp questions/essay topics been released for my year?

August 1st of 2019. You can make an account June/ July to see how it is set up, but it does not officially open with the school supplements until August 1st 2019.
