When did a 3.3 become a bad GPA?

In my D’s engineering school, 3.3 is above average and is a good GPA. 3.0 is required to keep the scholarship, while 3.5 is needed to get a chance for interview with big companies at the job fair.

Grades matter a lot if you want to go to graduate school.

Let me restate what i meant to say. At the Engineer school my daughter attends, the GPA to keep a scholarship is 2.5.
