@laughandlearn23 @jdschooled5 Where on the page can we see the application status? Mine just has a list of all of everything I have submitted. I got an email saying that my application was complete and ready for review on Oct. 27th, so I’m not sure if I would be in this batch anyways, but one can be hopeful!!
@rebecca4141 I’m wondering the exact same thing! I emailed them and they told me they don’t use the My Blue Hen portal anymore and the “application checklist” link will be where the decision is, but that doesn’t seem right to me. I got the under review email on the 27th as well.
Everyone -That whole application checklist will disappear when your decision shows up! Mine is gone and has been replaced by an admissions update post and a place to put a deposit down.

Just for accepted students information, unless things change this year, that at UD, unlike schools like Penn State, there is no relationship between when you send in your admission’s deposit and an accepted student’s housing priority. If anyone hears differently please post this.

Im trying to understand if I should be concerned. udel is my D’s #1. We sent the app in early sept and all requirements are received on the checklist. She wants to major in bio. She should be a great candidate (4.2 Gpa, 32 ACT). She didn’t do writing with the the ACT, but did with the SAT. We submitted all of the above to udel. Admissions, when I spoke to them said they would leverage the SAT writing and consider the ACT scores as well, even though the site says writing is reqd if submitting the ACT. Any insight if no writing with the ACT might have screwed things up despite what the admissions rep told me?
I wouldn’t be too concerned. At UD the biology major has become increasingly popular (especially as a pre-professional major) and last year they had so many applications for it that there was apparently some delay in UD sending out many acceptances for this major (I guess they wanted to get a better idea of the overall applicant pool before sending out decisions) early in the process. Perhaps they are experiencing a similar situation this year (I would not be surprised if this was the case). However IMHO your D’s GPA and ACT score should place her in a good position to be accepted even without the ACT writing as long as she completed the SAT writing component (although you did not mention the SAT scores). I suspect they will just convert the SAT writing score to an equivalent ACT writing score. Your D should be fine. Good luck.
I got the email that they recieved all of my credentials and that my application was READY for review on 10/30. Does anyone know when they will get back to me? I’m really anxious to know. Thank you 
@Jman0713 The UD website said they received all of my materials on October 10th and I got my admissions decision November 5th
Our D was accepted on 11/6! Business Undeclared. Turned in her app 10/11. Scores were sent in the spring. No previous email was received.

My DD was accepted 11/6 as a criminal justice major. Sent in info on 10/16. ACT 32 gpa 3.75

@laughandlearn23 On my UD account a thing popped up today that says “see financial aid awards in the link below” but there is no link. Does this mean I didn’t get any money?
@md1998 I just checked mine and I have the same issue. I don’t imagine that it means no money-hopefully just a glitch. Check tomorrow or later in the week maybe

@laughandlearn23 i just checked mine and mines gone too. There website say within 2 weeks of an admission decision youll know of merit scholarships so there should atleast eventually be a thing that says you either did or didnt receive money
