WHEN DO I SEND MY SAT SCORES? i'm really confused!

As i was about to send my scores, i read that it takes about 3-5 weeks to send my scores! I’m applying to UC, and so, do i have to rush my scores?

Also, i read in the other posts, all the scores are sent at once. What happens when you already sent the scores on no charge when you first registered for the sats?

i took the sat i and ii 5 times, and but only sent it two of them. Does that mean i have to send my scores to them again?

also, my LAST question! i’m going to take my sat for the third time but if i send my scores out today, what will happen to my december score? since the score wont come out later, does that mean i have to res-end my scores to all 6 colleges?

yes, if they have an incomplete file of your scores, you need to send them all the scores all over again

I believe December scores will reach in time w/o rushing. But I might be wrong, i just vaguely remember so

thanks you guys

so dont rush my scores for University of California? their deadline is nov 30.

dont UC's accept January SAT???

please someone tell us which date we have to rush because im taking December also

december is the last date of sat's that uc's will accept and you don't need to rush them...just indicate the schools when you sign up.

maybe i'm just extremely misinformed...but i thought we don't even have to send scores to UC's until after we get accepted? if we send it, do we send score to each individual UC we're applying for?

you send the your SAT scores to each individual UC youre applying to, the last date to take them is in december. If you sent your scores say for instance from the Novemeber test and you take it again send the scores again to the school to let them know youve taken it again

I think our college counselor told us to send in test scores but no transcripts/recs. I'm not sure, though, I've heard different things from different people.

So, if I'm taking the December test, when do I send my scores? Also, do I have to send each score seperately or do they see all scores? For instance, if I send my SAT II Scores, do I have to send my SAT I Scores seperately? Please help, I'm really confused now.

This is what I have gathered:
Transcripts: NOT sent until the end of the school year, and then only to the UC you are going to attend. That school will need to verify/crosscheck to make sure that your earlier self reported grades coincide with actual transcript. Until that time, your admission to the school is provisional.
Recs: Not required/accepted/read at any UC.
SAT I and II: According to the application instructions:"If you are applying for the fall term, the UC Admissions offices MUST receive your test results from the agencies (SAT and ACT) no later than the date in January when December test scores are normally reported". After reading that, I think D will just send scores to all UC's as the free choice schools (or as extras) on the Dec. test, since she is taking MathIIC that day. I believe the scores need to be sent to each UC applied to. However, all SAT's taken (I's AND II's) will be on each report, so it means 1 SAT report to each potential UC will suffice.
Hope that makes sense!

This whole score thing is complicated.

If you are taking the test in Dec and put down schools for the free ones, will they send all your scores to all the tests you've ever taken or is it only that Dec score?

for uc's...if u already have all your scores by the end of november, you don't need to send an official score report... the only reason you would have to send your official score report is if your taking the test in december cuz obviously uc wouldn't have those.

jennicker, they send all test scores, always (it's cumulative)

for prviates liek brown, cornell, northwestern thath ahve due dates Jan 1... is Dec sat okay????? or do i have to rush?

i think the best way is to call the school and ask. i called cornell and they said dec SAt is ok. i also heard that rushed scores get there about the same time as normal scores...except its like 20 bux more
