<p>Hi I think I can answer. Chris participated in RSI, and all RSI participants get MIT email accounts. :)</p>

<p>They way it works is the RSI accounts will expire after one or two years. I think RSI '02 just lost their accounts.</p>
<p>I have no idea whether I get a whole new account, or if I'm stuck with my RSI account and its very boring username RSI assigned me. (I want to choose mine!)</p>
