When do the freshman move in?

personally, i feel that bus is way overpriced. sure, you do get that extra plus of being picked up from BC but for less than half the price you can take a greyhound from south station to port authority in NYC, and then take a bus or train from the city to get whereever you need to go in ny/nj/pa (or just drive home like me). MUCH cheaper and not TOO much of a pain!

I definitely advise AGAINST taking the Chinatown buses. Ignore the cheap price -- you get what you pay for!

Two years ago, my son and his friends were left stranded on the side of the highway when the Boston-NY bus broke down.

I like the BC Express Buses (which is what the private company that runs from BC is called) just because you know you will always have a way to get home - it doesn't get canceled, and if it breaks down, a new one will be there shortly. They're also nice charter buses, unlike the Chinatown buses which i find to be cramped and sometimes dirty. Besides, for me, the hassle it would take to get to my small NJ town (including transfers both in Boston and in NJ) is worth the fact that its more expensive than some of the other buses. Mom43, the furthest south the bus goes is Edison NJ, but a lot of my friends live in South Jersey and their parents love the fact that they only have to drive an hour or two instead of five or six to pick up their students for break.

js0406- Thanks thats great to know,I would not mind driving the one hour to Edison to pick up/drop off. That sounds like the way to go!

One Fung Wah bus actually flipped over in Auburn, MA right near where I live going from Boston to New York.
