When do they stop taking new info for ED applicants?

If I were to send Penn an update around the 3rd of December what do you think the likelihood is that my admissions officer would actually look at it and consider it with my Early Decision app? I was unsure because of how long it's been taking them to sort through all the other info I'd assume it would take a lot of time to sort and by that point he may have already looked at my application.

This also applies for a question I posted earlier and never really received a response to. How heavily will they consider trimester 1 grades that won't be sent out until the first week in December? I can't imagine that they'd have time to read all the applications after the new grades have been received. However, after reading on CC that they don't begin looking at applications until after Thanksgiving I'm beginning to believe that they may look at the new grades more seriously.

Basically... When do you feel think it's too late to send any new info?

What is the new info and why can’t you send it until December 3rd?

As for your grades, I’m not sure whether they will be looked at. I only say this because if your school is mailing the grades and they aren’t sent until the 1st week of December, they might not even arrive at the office/be processed until days after the notification deadline. If your school sends grades electronically, it’ll probably still be tight, but there will be a better chance that they will arrive on time to be looked at.

The new info is an update on a project that I have been working on which is a large component of my application. I may be receiving an award for it, but I will not know until the week of November 30th. December 3rd is an arbitrary date i chose in the middle of that week. haha. I have already received awards for the project so there may be no point in updating them, it was just an idea.
