I know it's sometime in December, but I can't find it on the cb website. ):
Thanks!

I'm pretty sure it's just a random time in December because they're not online - it's up to each individual school and the counselors to decide when to pass out scores, explain them, etc.

NEVER! This year they're not releasing PSAT scores... something about "not caring enough."

idk you might want to investigate this further.

This year, you have to guess what your score is. Then CB compares that to your actual score. They then randomly choose either the score you guessed or the score you got. This technique is also employed at Harvard's admissions office.

^Also, if your guess-score is more than 5 points away from the actual score, both scores are decreased by 50. And that's the equivalent of 500 SAT points, so you'd better guess well! :]

I started getting mail from some colleges; I think it's because I said I wanted to receive info from colleges when I took the PSAT. Simon's Rock College of Bard sent me crap; I have zero interest in the school.

Anyways, I screwed up big time on the Math and Writing sections; I'm hoping for like a 175.

it depends on your school...=)

I also screwed up on the PSAT. I just went through and circled answers.

Colorado School of Mines FTW!!

my school refuses to give them back to us until mid january and the day they give them back freshman and seniors are off and sophomores and juniors have a half day where the school makes us do college admissions/sat prep stuff.

wow, really? /

yeah, which I find really funny. I guess they figure if our scores are low, we'll feel pretty motivated to do well in the prep type stuff and if our scores are high, we'll be pretty excited about the whole college admissions thing and possibly feel really cocky during the prep and want to answer questions/actually try but that's just a theory.
