Im in Hinton James…I really wanted a dorm in North Campus…but it’s still all good. It has a basketball court right outside :)

I’m in ehaus… wooo. not my first choice, but there will be lots of community events, so that will be fun.

if your room number is lower than 100, you are on the ground floor. not the first floor, the ground floor. some other people were confused about that on the fb group and called.

I’m in e-haus too! I don’t know anything about it though, anyone want to give me a heads up??

I’m in Hinton James…not too amazing but at least there will be a lot of people!

It’s good to have the freshman experience on South Campus - you guys will have fun for sure! And you will meet tons of people. I was in Hinton James on the sixth floor in the suite with the RA (ha). Get excited!

Yeah I’m excited for hojo! It should be fun. The walk is kinda daunting, but I’m hoping it will help me avoid the freshman 15.

The walk can be a major pain if you have early morning classes and you’re tired, etc, but honestly it wasn’t too bad, and it definitely keeps you in shape. And the campus is so pretty as it is. The buses on South Campus are also reliable, so I did use them on days when it was 95 degrees or 30 degrees out, ha ha.

What is the bus schedule for people going from South to North Campus?

they run very frequently, but the walk really isnt bad at all. think of it as a way to run into friends and meet new people!

anyone else in Craige North?? (manning west community)

The RU runs from South Campus to North Campus, and there are bus stops behind Hinton James/Ram Village and in front of Ehaus. It comes about every 10 minutes… There are always lots of buses running.

I feel like I am the only freshman on middle campus besides the select few. I am living in Parker (an all girls dorm guhhh). definately not my first choice, but it actually looks really pretty and there are a lot of things that go on there, so not too bad. I just wanted some guys around.

^my mom lived in parker back when she went to carolina in like 1980, and she loved it! she was a little apprehensive about it being all-girls, but she said it ended up being really fun, it was a good location and there’s a lot that goes on around it! plus, i heard from some girls who lived there a couple years ago that the football team goes running by parker everyday during football season :)

haha that sounds very promising—thanks haha :)

I’m in Morrison 256b. Very excited!
