I got into Macaulay Honors at Queens College last week!

I was wondering if the classes could be considered difficult? A 3.5 gpa seems stressful to maintain, especially when failure to do so would result in just regular Queens College. o_o;;

I got rejected by Macaulay at Hunter, but they never emailed or sent a letter or anything. My mom called when it was a week and a half after March 15 and they said they would ask the dean about it the next day. I called the next day and the lady who answered the phone snapped at me, said she told my mom I got rejected the day before (she had not), and that they had resent the email.

To this day I have not been notified.

Congrats to those who got in, and Hunter is still an option for me, but I think it’s an extremely unprofessional way to run the school. This school was high on my list and I was a strong applicant, and to not even be worth the 20 seconds it takes to send a rejection email really really sucks.

CCNY’s atmosphere is basically pretty much what you make of it. I’ll have to warn you about administration because that sucks in like every school but there are some really good professors and they are bad professors that you should avoid like the plague.

What are you expecting from CCNY? What specifically do you have questions about?
