<p>This is to all acceptees, or those who may know.
When you are accepted, do you immediately know what residential college you are placed in, or are you informed of that in the summer, along with your roommate assignment, or anytime later?</p>

<p>Sometime in the summer once the numbers of matriculants is known. Certainly not at acceptance time.</p>
<p>Certainly you'll get roommate info so you can coordinate furniture, etc in the summer as well.</p>
<p>You don't find out until June. The wait was so painful. I remember the day we found out, everyone was harassing people in Connecticut who got the letters first to post the names of the people that were in their college. It was crazy lol.</p>
<p>It was the end of june for 2011. But we could cheat and find out a few days early by logging into <a href="http://www.yale.edu/facebook%5B/url%5D">www.yale.edu/facebook</a> with our NetID/password. The college's facebook that shows up automatically is the college that you're in.</p>
<p>yeah, that didn't work for us last year lol.</p>
