When does your school start?

<p>I know many of you guys out there don't want it to ever start but i just recieved the mailing from my school telling me which homeroom I'm suppose to report to,so I Thought i'd ask you guys when does you're school year starts.</p>

<p>mine starts august 14.</p>

<p>Well I just finished high school [what a relief], but just about any public school in NJ begins the first wednesday after the first monday, so that's what maybe the 6th, not really good with dates, or maybe the 5th, oh well, but you get the picture.</p>

<p>Mine starts on August 7. I'm lucky - there's one county nearby that starts on July 31.</p>

<p>Well the mentality is it takes about three days to get back into school mode, so the first day is introductions, the second day is rules, and the third day is expectations, at least that's how I always looked upon, though I don't really think it weird to start school on any particular day, though I think the real rationale behind it is monday is labor day, tuesday is the first day for teachers and wednesday is the first day for students, so...</p>

<p>Always the first Thursday after Labor Day. Teachers go in on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so mine always starts the day after Tonyt88's.</p>

<p>August 15th, two weeks from this tuesday. Good thing is, I only have to go to school for about 4 and a half hours every day...senior year baby.</p>
