When/How do admissions decisions come out?

1MoreDad... where do you live?
I'm wondering whether I should get my hopes up and anticipate one tomorrow, since I didn't get one today.

Thanks: miss independent and tennisfan

We live in Canada

ohhh... well then i guess i have no hope of an early notification :( seeing as how I live in MA

i'm nervous now....no letter yet

when we check online, what does an acceptance/rejection/waitlest look like? Because when I check online right now, I don't see any "check decision" button or any space where an admissions decision would go. I only see options to check my ap's completeness, some financial aid thing, deadlines and an option to contact my ap processor. So how do decisions come out online?

i think that, once they do get the decisions online, they create another link option that says like "enrollment status" or something...

isn't that only if you got in? i thought that was a dead giveaway when i checked my admissions decision online.

Ohhh...wait...so you got your admissions decision online??? You must have been either a transfer admit or a special RD admit (a likely) because only those people got decisions in advance.

Will they email us when the decisions are online or will we have to just keep checking for when they are posted?

Looking back through the threads last year, it looks like people didn't all find out on the 15th at all. It seemed to just come in waves...does anyone know if we will hear on the 15th for sure?

It looks like most people were able to find out online March 17-18th.

I know that the kids that applied to Olin recieved their decisions and same with those that were invited to multicultural weekend, but will they release the decisions for the rest of the applicants in mid march or do we have to wait until April?

wait.. if you're multi cultural and you haven't received a letter yet, does that mean you're not accepted?

no... don't worry takeme2cali, it doesn't mean that you're not accepted. they only send out invitations to a few people... there are MANY multicultural people applying to WashU, so more than just the ppl invited to the wknd are accepted...
