<p>i just got an acceptance letter today.</p>
<p>They sent it via Fedex (i'm international from UK) and it is postmarked 20th of March.</p>
<p>I wish I were from some place interesting (and had an accent). If we both go to NU, lets be friends. :-p</p>
<p>i live in turkey and i have just received my acceptance for the school of communication along with 3 other people from our school!!!</p>
<p>Son's (domestic application) information has not been updated for weeks...no clues yet online.</p>
<p>I doubt the fact that they haven't confirmed a date yet means anything... We probably won't even know until they're actually up. Hopefully it's the 24th or the 25th, though!</p>

<p>and it says "Thank you for applying to Northwestern University. The admission committee will review all your materials and send you a decision by mid-April.</p>
<p>Mid April??? Is that correct?</p>
<p>how are people already recieving their decisions? </p>

<p>ok...i just got off the phone with an admissions officer from NU and they're sending the decisions out in JUNE!!!! oh my gosh...there is no way i can wait that long!</p>

<p>AND IT SAYS NORTHWESTERN WILL SEND ME A DECISION BY MID-APRIL.</p>
<p>F*#K THAT $H!T. but in all seriousness, why so late? because of a heavy tennis schedule (districts, regionals, states, etc) and both my prom and my girlfriend's prom, i won't really have any free time to visit colleges and what little time i have, i'm using in early april. and i'm sure i'm not alone in my dilemma. although i've visited northwestern before, i still think it's pretty crappy to know so late.</p>

<p>They'll get decisions out by next Thursday. No school wants to have their decisions come out after the Ivy decisions.</p>
<p>dearkonstatine - i logged onto my account and noticed that they had changed "late march" to "mid april"........ i'm not sure though - seeing as how the internationals are already recieving their decisions they must be done, or very very close to done with our (us nationals) decisions, too?</p>
<p>yeah the mid-april thing is a mistake.</p>
<p>It's by mid-April--emphasis on "by." Northwestern could decide to send decisions earlier (and they probably will.) I interpretated that statement to mean that decisions would arrive in your mailbox by mid-April at the latest.</p>
<p>Northwestern's page does say "mid-April" one place, but in another, </p>

<p>it says "late March." I would bet it's going to be late March, instead of mid-April. In fact, i bet it's Saturday the 25th, but thats just a guess.</p>
