I'll be giving them a call next Friday if mine isn't marked complete by then. Today they said they had everything and were in the process of updating it to "complete."

Update: One friend got into Michigan on Friday (Engineering), recommendation was from computer programming teacher.

I got in and I used my AP Computer Science teacher as well :) I just put him under 'science' because it is science, I guess?

las, did you apply to engineering or LSA?

applied to LSA

I don't know what to think now...I applied on the 23, but I'm in-state.

DS applied on 11/1 and as of today's date 11/21 shows everything in (a laundry list of credentials and dates received )but doesn't say it's complete

For my academic plan it lists LSA undeclared, but on the application, I chose pre-business and I checked pre admission to the Ross School. Is there a mistake? Should I call the admissions office?

I submitted online app on 10/28 - site lists app submitted as 11/2. Wolverine Access shows everything is there as of 11/18 but still lists app as incomplete. I contacted admissions today, and they said it takes 3-5 days once everything listed as there, before app is noted to be complete. I assume that will be in the next couple of days. Anyone have an idea when I would hear, based on this?

Everything in mine was in on 11/7, it still says incomplete. I think I'm going to call them (again) tommorow to make sure there isn't a problem. The first time I asked on live chat (~2 weeks ago) they said it should be updated to complete by the end of the week.

I didn't think there really is a "pre-business" major, right? It just means you are going to pursue a program that makes you a good candidate for the business school. Therefore, I think "undeclared" is probably the right thing. It makes no difference for your admissions chances. Major matters in the music school (they need a certain number of oboes) but not in LSA.

Funny, I checked Thursday AM before going out of town and WA still said my app was incomplete. I assumed nothing would be updated until after the weekend, but when I got home and checked today, it says complete.

Time between everything listed as received and site updated to complete was one week. But if things started to be processed as of the date everything was received, I could possibly get a decision as early as three weeks from now - but my guess is most likely sometime in January. It would be great to hear in December, though, so I wouldn't have to send out all those other apps!

I sent in my SAT scores September 15, and it still says on woverine access that they have not got it. Is this normal, as its the only thing not said to be sent?

I would definitely check on this, since it's way past the time when they should have received those scores.

Here's a post from another thread which should answer your question:

"I agree with what Wolves said. And that goes for any school that has an online status-checking system. If you see something that looks off, call UDG Admissions and speak to someone personally. Get it straightened out right away and find out where you stand. With schools on rolling admissions, an incomplete application means very valuable time is being wasted. Don't delay!"

DS took SAT's in October and his scores are there, you should a)call CEEB to verify they were sent and then b) call UM admissions to ask them to check
