I think that's dependent on your school's schedule and they expect it to be completed as soon as it's available. It's mostly just grades and any "new" information isn't it?

How much impact does the midyear report have on admissions anyway? My grades are, well, rather low this term. :(

Yeah... mine are too--but in my defense, I've chosen to take a harder curriculum this year. Plus, I think they'll be a little understanding of senior year college-apping stress... or at least, I hope this is the case :-.

To the OP:

Let me google that for you

:) First link... bottom of the page-ish.

Hmmmm.... So I am wondering when is the mid-year report deadline for Johns Hopkins? I could post my question to College Confidential, but let try something more innovative. I heard Johns Hopkins Admissions has a Web site with information for applicants and prospective students. So I go here: Welcome to the Johns Hopkins University Office of Undergraduate Admissions.

Hey look at that, there is a main menu item that says "APPLY" -- I click on it: Hopkins Undergraduate Admissions :: Apply :: Applying to Hopkins

Ooo, lookie there, there is another menu item that says "DEADLINES AND REQUIREMENTS." I wonder what information will be there, so I click on it: Hopkins Undergraduate Admissions :: Apply :: Deadlines and Requirements

OK, so I am a "Regular Decision Freshman" and I click on that link:
Hopkins Undergraduate Admissions :: Apply :: Deadlines and Requirements

And there it is:

Now that was difficult.

Sorry to answer with a sarcastic response, but it boggles my mind why such questions appear on College Confidential when it is SOOOOO EASY to get this information.

Since mid-year reports detail the most recent academic work of an applicant, they are very important and play a major role in the review of one's application.

Do we need to sumbit mid year report if applying to Regular Decision?
