When should I know if Computer Science is right for me?

Hello,

I am currently beginning my second semester of college. I am working towards a BS in computer science and minoring in Technical Writing. My main concern is when will I know if I'm cut out for it? I'm not really "great" at math, but I can pass it. I started college with no experience in the field of computer science, but I ended up passing both of my beginning programming courses with high A's. I really enjoy programming now and it is something I love to learn. I am worried though because my professor just told me this semester will either make me or break me.

Thank you for your time.

Sounds like you’ll know by the end of the semester.

Assuming your work is good, you’ll know you’re right when you spend hours and hours writing code that is not required for your courses.
