When the acceptance/rejection letters are arriving

are you going to check online
or do you prefer waiting by the mail box?

personally, I prefer real letters…

I assume that the mail comes a little bit later?
most people would prefer real letter, but the question is, can you wait?

Uhm, its better to go online I guess. Some like Cal actually don't send out rejection letters, so it might not be a good idea to keep waiting. I know the mail is really exciting though. After finding out I got into UCSD, they sent me a day later (I live really close to the campus, so the stuff ships super fast) this big blue envelope with the words "congratulations, its the BIG letter" xD UCLA sent me a folder and a bumper sticker.

So does that mean you're not going to even check online? You're just gonna wait to find out til you get a letter?

the mail definitely takes longer. I would check online, as anxious as I am to know the result

I'm not going to open anything until I have all of them. I think.

whats the website to check online for UC's?

^I think you have to check each UC separately through your application status webpage.
