Do you apply directly to Kenan-Flagler as a high school senior?

No, Students who have completed their first year at UNC and admitted UNC transfer students will be eligible to apply for Undergraduate Business admission beginning July 1 to start as soon as the following spring. There are pre-reqs you need to complete.

Correct.

However, there is a pre-admit program (the official name is Assured Admit) that’s by invitation. KF reviews your regular application if you expressed interest in the business mayor, and will let you know if you’ve been offered a spot at KF. The pre-admits have to complete the requirements like ever and are officially enrolled in the bschool spring semester sophomore year.

Hi, I was recently admitted to UNC as a Computer Science major. However, I want the opportunity to do a double major at KF along with this. It this possible?

As a side note, I have taken AP Calculus AB, BC and Multivariable Calculus in high school, along with AP Macro and Microeconomics.

Yes. You must apply and gain admission to KF, then apply to KF for the dual major approval. If approved by KF, they will give you a recommendation letter that you must take to the College of Arts and Sciences for their approval. The dual major must be approved by both schools. You will graduate with a BSBA with an additional major of CS.

One further consideration is your ability to complete the requirements for both majors and your gen-Ed requirements in your eight semesters at UNC. Obviously, CS and BA do not have much overlap in curriculum which may add to the challenge. During the dual major approval process you will be asked to lay out a plan (by semester) how you will accomplish all required courses. BE credits for your AP courses (assuming high test scores) will help somewhat, and there is always summer school.

I know that it is fairly early for me to think about this, but is there a place where I can see all of the general requirements along with all of the courses required for each major? Thanks.

Here is a link to the academic worksheets by major. The gen-Ed categories are included in each.
