When to Complete FAFSA?

I’m a CC transfer student, filling out the FAFSA for the first time. I’m looking at completing the form soon, but I haven’t finished all of my applications yet. My question is, if I complete the FAFSA now, would I only list the schools I’ve already applied to, or all the ones I’m planning to apply to? How would I edit the form later if I have applications due all the way until March?

You can list all of the colleges when you submit the FAFSA…the whole list.

Or, you can go back into the FAFSA submitted later and add other schools.

But really…why not just submit them all now?

@thumper1 My question was whether I would be able to submit the FAFSA before submitting the application. If I can, then yes, I could just submit them all now.
