When When When!?!?!?

JROCK What are your sat scores. I WAS REJECTED AT wILLIAMS AND ACCEPTED AT cORNELL WHILE YOU WERE ACCEPTED AT WILLIAMS AND REJECTED AT CORNELL.I REALLY WISH WE COULD SWITCH PLACES.ANYWAY Wesleyan has not fedexed anything to me so I am not really happy.Anyway congratulations on your Williams acceptance.

thanks sefago, but you're also very lucky to have been accepted at Cornell. i was at first disappointed, but well, maybe cornell wasn't the place for me, and i'm glad [strange isn't it?] that i was rejected. wouldn't trade places for the world :)

my stats are on the cornell dec. thread http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=158589&page=7&pp=15

Jrock, who sent you that email? How did you set up something with Fedex to find out when things are sent to you?

I may be wrong, but I think that the Fed Ex thing that Jrock got was only for internationals (I certainly never got an email like that last year when I was accepted, but who knows, maybe things have changed). Both people who have posted to say that they got these emails are internationals, I believe (please, correct me if I'm wrong), and the email specifies International Fed Ex. Because they live farther away and it is more difficult to send internationals their acceptances, it may be that for them only they have FedExed them so that they don't have to wait until mid to late April to know if they have gotten in.

Don't worry that you haven't gotten one of these emails, it likely means nothing. I know it's hard to hear, but at this point, there isn't really anything you can do. And wouldn't you rather discover that you were accepted by seeing the fat envelope rather than hearing that you have something from FedEx over the phone or email? It's only a couple more days!

Good luck everyone!

I called the office of Admissions today. They sent the letters out yesterday first class. The FedEx must be for International Students only. Good luck to all.
My S will probably have to wait till Monday as we are on the west coast.

i have prom tomorrow night, so finding out i got in tomorrow afternoon would make the day even better. finding out i was rejected would ruin it, and not hearing anything would just make me more anxious. so basically, i want to get into wes nowwww!!!!!

Yeah, the package is Fedex International Priority, and the sender requested Fedex to email me a tracking update.

but whatever happens, everyone, whether US or intl, would have received acceptance letters on the 3rd - monday.

just got my package!!! at the bottom of the letter, Nancy [dean, admissions] wrote: "Yes! Come to us!"

the aid was great! and they'll even pay my airfare:) per year to travel home!

this is awesome! but i don't think it beats williams personalised admit letter. but i'm still so very excited!! congrats to all ye acceptees!
