<p>I submitted my online application somewhere between the 26th and 28th of October, and my materials were received on November 11th. Has anyone from NY who has applied to LSA received a decision yet? </p>

<p>They were postmarked before the 1st. They were probably sent out between the 28th and 31st. My school sends all of our stuff out, so I'm not exactly sure.</p>
<p>You'll probably be hearing back soon. It's hard to estimate a time though. One of my friends had it postmarked before the 1st, but it was received on the 7th; he heard back two weeks ago. Others with similar stats have had their materials received at earlier dates, but they haven't heard back yet.</p>

<p>I submitted my App technically on Nov. 2nd like 12:45am Eastern time....but apparently U.Michigan didn't go by EST, and so my app (as indicated by the reciept) was sent on Nov. 1st 9:45pm (Pacific time?). Anyways, the rest of my materials, postmarked around Oct.22, were received on Nov. 5th. So far, no word from them. Hope they send out the decisions this coming Thursday or Friday so I can finalize my regular decision list...</p>

<p>What if we all got denied? Haha. Ahhh why does this have to be so stressful? And why does the economy have to suck? Our class is so screwed for college. Like first off we have the highest number of graduates ever, which means it's more competitive, but then the economy's in the crapper, so schools are cutting back on enrollment and financial aid. I know, I'm a cynic.</p>

<p>Anjew, try to think about it like this: since the economy is in the ****ter right now, by the time we all graduate from college, the economy will be booming or at least making a substancial comeback meaning we'll all get kick-ass jobs!</p>

<p>**Ja'mie: That is ... unless the theories of 2013 don't hold up and armageddon never comes about. Of course, no one really knows where the economy is headed for ... both the US and the world. The economy's just so complex and hard to predict, so I guess Obama's doing the right thing so far by hiring all the academic elites.</p>
<p>Anyways, I've seen a few NJ admits on the Decision thread .. but it's strange that there haven't been much NYs. I also heard the UM's admits are regional in some cases, so don't worry yet. They guarantee a decision by Christmas Eve, so if they tell you an admit on Christmas Eve ... I'd say that's gonna be a pretty good Christmas present from UMich.</p>
<p>j'aime...i'm from NJ and heard that i was admitted on nov 20; however, NJ is behind in general i believe. the person for our is new and it may take a while...but don't worry.</p>

<p>Yea I'm from NY. i applied on the 30th and all my stuff got there around the 12th at the latest. I havent heard back yet but im freaking out as well!</p>
