So I saw on the ACT website that our scores will be up on June 25th. That seems so soon. Is that correct? If so, what is this hack I've read about?

it's where you change the numbers at the end of the URL for the score reports to the one designated to your june ACT... and those start coming up usually the first wednesday after the test.. so the 18th for this one... some people's scores take longer, and the 25th is the official date where everyone's should be up

What do you need to do to see it on the 18th? What do I put in the Url?

I doubt they will be out by the 18th my guess you can do the hack around next Sunday/Monday at least thats how it was in April

i got my score on the wednesday after the april one (4 days after the test)

i was one of the few though.. many didn't get their scores until a week later

What is the thing about the way of knowing when your scores will be up? What does the testing status have to be?

Isn't anyone worried that by doing this we could get in trouble?

when you have a status of Tested then you can check if you use the hack

I'm pretty sure we can't get in trouble using the hack.

It's not really a hack; it's more of a glitch.

so how exactly is the hacking process performed?

the hacking thing was on another thread; look in the June ACT thread and in one of the earlier posts there's a link to the spot. It was explained in the April ACT thread...wow..that's a little confusing, but anyway :)

I read on sparknotes that it costs eight dollars to view the scores online. Is this true?

no its free

lol its free

I think it used to be $8 to have it processed quicker, but I don't exactly remember. It's free now.

i love how we get our ACT scores a day before our SAT scores even though we took the SAT a week before the ACT. Collegeboard is so lazy!!

For the hack, you use the 7 digit number from a previous score report right? So anyone who took June for the first time can't see their scores with the hack since they don't have a previous 7 digit #? Or am I missing something?

no you can find the 7 digit # now. hover your mouse over the link View/Print Admission Ticket. the seven digit # should be at the bottom "regId=xxxxxxx"

when your status says tested then i'm pretty sure your scores are up and u can use the hack. for example, right now my status is still "registered" so my scores aren't up.

Well ACT has all 4 tests on the same page. Collegeboard decides to put them on like 2-3 different pages. I don't know if the machine turns it or not, but they have millions of SATs to grade, so if it has to be turned by human hand, then it will take a while.

I definitely see the ACT less corrupt than CollegeBoard. By that I mean like the ACT tests the right stuff, things you've been learning since you were little. Both tests are logic, but the SAT just has that weird animosity, and they try to overcharge you way too much. $50 to hand score your test and ACT only charges like $15.

^ So true. I always thought ACT was the nicer sibling of the cruel Collegeboard.
