<p>The loans won't be posted until starting the 17th, but most don't go up until the 20th normally.</p>
<p>It would not affect your financial aid if you cancel any of your loans. They actually advise you not to take so much if you can afford to pay by yourself. However, you might want to consider that Perkins is a 5% loan as opposed to Stafford's 6.8%</p>
