<p>Hello fellow students living in Qatar. Would be interesting to see who else is leaving the country for abroad either this year or the next. Where are you heading? What are you studying etc.</p>

<p>I just heard this right now from my friend. Is it true that Qatar government gives $3,000/month for personal expenses if you study in the US?</p>

<p>That figure is a bit exagerated, they actually pay for room&board + give you around 1800$ for personal expenses. Excluding clothes and transport those are subidised.
Altough you have to go to a top university. Think Duke,Rice and up.</p>
